I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (C7060). I earned a Bachelor of Psychology from California Baptist University and Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University Cascades. Additionally, I have a Bachelors of Arts in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from California Baptist University. I've been providing psychotherapy services since 2019.
I am a first generational Mexican American who graduated from college. I am a proud Latina and woman owned business.
I love baking. Sometimes you will find me in my kitchen baking French macarons while jamming out to music.
I'm obsessed with plants... I feel like my house is a jungle.
I love staying home, watching a movie (romantic comedies, of course!), and cuddling up with my kiddo, hubby, and dog.
I love camping, exploring, hiking, and mountain bike riding.
I enjoy horseback riding.
I love traveling and exploring new places with my family.
My approach to therapy is trauma informed and holistic. I believe everyone has a story that should be heard, and have a space where their healing journey can begin. I utilize techniques from mind-body based therapeutic approaches, Brain Spotting, Person Centered, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused lens, Gottman Method. Having a eclectic approach helps me provide a safe, non-judgement space where I can meet my clients needs. I value the therapeutic relationship with my clients and want them to share their story, process their pain, and find healing. Therapy may not always fix the problem however, when clients are dedicated and willing to do the work they will find healing in some form.
I enjoy working with various clients and issues. I have a passion for women's concerns, shame, low self-worth, mood disorders, prenatal and postpartum issues, eating disorders, unhealthy body and food relationship, PTSD, complex trauma, and trauma related stressors. I also enjoy working with couples on relational issues, communication issues, intimacy issues, and conflict issues. For clients who wish to integrate faith in their treatment, I also provide Christian counseling.
I am passionate about working children from 5 years old+ who struggle with emotional regulation, behavioral issues, or experienced abuse/ trauma. I enjoy coming along side of parents and coaching them on how to have healthy body conversations/ boundaries setting along with building strong emotional connection with their children.
